Danielle's Story
A captive wild dolphin speaks up

Since June 2011 Oribel initiated a project to help free and energetically support a pod of captive wild dolphins.  She is in contact with one of the female dolphins who introduced herself as Danielle.

The video you are about to watch captures the message Danielle would like to share with all people.  It means a lot to Danielle and her dolphin friends and families for people to understand their predicament.

If you would like to be more informed about the captive dolphin and whale industry that capitalizes on their captivity, you may want to watch this international documentary movie "A Fall From Freedom."  You will have a new and different perspective after  watching this movie.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about our cetacean friends.

How can you help?

Through education - in schools and in communities.  Water theme parks that showcase dolphins in captivity and put up dolphin and whale shows as entertainment will continue doing what they are doing as long as they have people queuing up to buy tickets to watch these shows.  We can educate these ticket buyers, mostly children whose parents  take them to these shows.  Show these children this video or read to them Danielle's story and ask for their teachers to further help explain the dolphins' and whales' dilemma and encourage the children to help free these dolphins by:

(1) telling their parents about what  they've learnt from Danielle's story and
(2) refusing to watch a dolphin and whale show.

And trust our children to come up with their own ingenious ways to help these dolphins in captivity.  They can be the new voice and we can help guide them.

You too can begin communicating with animals in the wild and the Natural World.

Attend a 4-hour Interspecieis Communication workshop,

facilitated by Oribel in Singapore.
